Sept 2025 Zoe says hello to the world, right on schedule and already opinionated about it.
Nov 2025 Her first real smile shows up, aimed squarely at Samina.
Jan 2026 She discovers her own toes and considers the matter closed for the day.
Apr 2026 Sitting up unlocks a new hobby: reaching for anything within arm's length.
Jul 2026 Three wobbly steps across the living room, then straight into Rohit's arms.
Sept 2026 She turns one, and hasn't slowed down since.

A note to Zoe

Dear Zoe,

A year ago you turned our world upside down, in the best way possible. We've spent three hundred and sixty-five days learning your laugh, your favorite songs, and the exact face you make right before you're about to cause trouble.

Watching you grow this year has been the easiest kind of joy. Keep being curious, keep being loud when you have something to say, and keep reaching for whatever catches your eye.

Happy first birthday, little one. We love you more than you'll understand for a long while yet.
